Below are the instructions to prepare artwork to be converted into templates for your ordering portal.

File Preparation Guide:

1.File Types

• Adobe In-design package files (includes fonts + placed images)
• Adobe Illustrator package files
• PDF files should be saved in a zip with all images, fonts.  Do not save with text compression on.

2.Document size: 3.63” x 2.13”

0.13” bleed is included in file size. Trim size will be 3.5” x 2”.  If you have designed your business cards without bleed, increase art-board size to 3.63” x 2.13” and extend all artwork to document edge.

3. Send templates populated with real data for each line.
This allows us to see how you’d like a finished card to look, including text alignment.  So use an actual name, full address formatted as you wish to see it, and phone numbers formatted as you want them to appear.

4. Important settings/options:
– Do not convert any variable text to “Outlines”
– Do not save multiple artboards (only the full document size 3.63” x 2.13” should be saved as a singular artboard).
– Do not save PDF files with the “Compress text and line art” option checked under Compression settings when saving.
